Job Title: Waiter / Waitress (Part-Time)

Venue: Bank de León
Location: Wolverhampton City Centre
Reports to: Floor Manager / Duty Manager

Role Overview:

As a Waiter/Waitress at Bank de León, you will play a key role in delivering a high-quality dining experience within a vibrant, Caribbean-inspired bar and restaurant setting. You will be responsible for providing attentive, friendly, and efficient table service while maintaining the venue’s premium atmosphere and service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Experience & Service:

Greet and seat guests with a warm and professional approach
Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
Serve food and beverages in a timely and presentable manner
Create a welcoming, engaging atmosphere for all guests
Build rapport with customers and ensure a positive dining experience

Food & Beverage Knowledge:

Maintain a strong understanding of the menu, including Caribbean dishes and drinks
Make recommendations and upsell menu items, specials, and promotions
Communicate clearly with the bar and kitchen teams to ensure order accuracy

Operations & Cleanliness:

Set up and clear tables efficiently
Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the floor area
Assist with opening and closing duties
Ensure all service areas meet hygiene and presentation standards

Teamwork & Communication:

Work closely with bar staff, kitchen staff, and management
Support colleagues during busy periods
Communicate effectively to ensure smooth and timely service

Compliance & Standards:

Follow all health & safety and food hygiene regulations
Adhere to licensing laws and responsible service practices
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times

Skills & Requirements:

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Reliable, punctual, and flexible (evenings & weekends required)

Desirable:

Previous hospitality or waiting experience
Interest in food, drinks, and Caribbean culture
